Trailing 31-28 at halftime, the Eagles received the second half kickoff and were driving for their first lead of the game when the Eagles lost the ball on a disputed fumble call. The Bears went back down the field for TD to push the score back to a 2-score margin, and the Eagles could never get over the hump of that 2-score deficit.

Northside finishes the regular season at 8-2 (2-2 in R1-6A) and in second place in the region. After an off week, the Eagles will host Grovetown in a Round I matchup at the MAC.
