Game Recap
The Eagles 3 game winning streak against the Demons was snapped Friday night when the Demons defeated the Eagles by a score of 28-18. The Demons controlled the clock and field position in the first half and went into the locker room with a 7-3 halftime lead.
Northside received the second half kickoff and their first of five second half turnovers turned into a Warner Robins 'pick six' and a 14-3 lead. The Eagles responded with their best drive of the night highlighted by a long pass from Marcus Ivory to Jurmon Weaver down to the one where Willie Jordan ran it in to cut the lead to 14-10. The Eagles would turn the ball over 4 more times in the next quarter and a half to prevent any type of serious comeback. With 1:30 left in the game, Ivory hooked up with Weaver again for a 20 yard TD pass and 2pt pass conversion to make the final score 28-18.
The Eagles close out the regular season next Friday at home against the Evans Knights.
