The Eagles bid for their fourth state championship fell just short as they lost to the defending state champion Lee Co Trojans by a score of 14-0. The Eagle D played valiently throughout the game to keep Northside within striking distance, but the Lee Co defense again proved to be as good as advertised and shutout the Eagles. The Eagles recorded 4 sacks and senior Deshaun Maine made 8 solo tackles and senior Tubby McCall ended his Northside career with another interception (8th of season) and 5 tackles.
