The Eagles kicked off their 2015 season on the road at North Cobb High School for a rematch against the AAAAAA Warriors. North Cobb was looking to avenge their 2014 loss at the MAC in the friendly confines of their home stadium, and they came out on fire with four touchdowns in the first half. The Eagles were sluggish and sloppy with 3 first half turnovers to aid the hosts and North Cobb went to the locker room with a 24-6 halftime lead. On the last play of the half, Northside senior Chris Haughton was injured on a kickoff return, after a twenty minute delay in the action, the last 7 seconds were run off the clock by the officials before the halftime break.

The Eagles regrouped at halftime and put together a furious second half rally culminating with a 20 yard touchdown pass from Tobias Oliver to Treyvon Willis with 21 seconds left in the game for the win. The Northside rally was ignited by Isaiah Nelson’s exciting interception and return for a touchdown with 4:51 left in the game. All the scoring plays for the game are listed below:
