Before a packed house on a beautiful, fall Friday night, the Eagles and Demons met for the 57th time in the storied "War-Town Classic" rivalry. Northside was looking to avenge last year's loss to the Demons, and they did not waste any time as they forced the Demons to punt on their opening possession and quickly drove 58 yards in 6 plays and 2:02 before settling for a 21 yard FG from Justin Alonso. Senior Willie Jordan and the Eagle offensive line set the tone of the game for the night on the drive as Jordan gained all 58 yards on the ground on 5 carries. Jordan would finish the night with 249 yards on 34 carries and 1 TD.

After the Eagles got off to the quick lead, the Demons fought hard and hung close, aided by a punt return TD to start the second half, but Northside sealed the game in the fourth quarter with a time consuming running game and a late interception by sophomore Tae Daley.
